Hi there

First of all thank you for such a great turn out today, the fact 8 of us ran was very impressive indeed, the pub meal was great and the service quick and the passenger rides were superb fun. :)

Here are the graphs, sorry for low resolution, but my laptop is pants:-

EVO X FQ-360 with Milltek Turbo back vs stock previous run - GIBBO

EVO X FQ-330 ST with Indigo Remap - Stock it was 305BHP - Some guy

Leon FR, but has it been mapped or did it just like the cold?

Big powerful Mercedes with remap - TOMO

Vauxhall Monaro VXR - PRINCEY

When Scooby Clinic ran an EVO X FQ-360 with the same exhaust setup it made 395BHP without remap. Mine today made 414.5BHP but with correction that works out at 396.9BHP which is right where it should be, so happy with results. :)

I'd just like to say thank you for an excellent turnout and I hope in the passenger rides I did miss anyone out and the EVO did not scare too much. :D

Enjoyed my rides greatly in the Monaro, Merc and Exige. The power that Merc has now is very impressive. :)

Can the chap taking the photos please post them in this thread, we should have held a competition for dirtiest car as I think I may have won as you could not even read my number plate, oooops.

Why is there a diesel Fiesta van in there?

The figures on that Leon aren't high enough for it to have been remapped really, are they? Not a bad figure though!

I was thinking on the way home - I totally forgot that the Leon had a total ECU replacement back in January and it's been untouched since.

I doubt that SEAT would have put a mapped ECU in on a warranty replacement.

It's certainly running high though - supposed to be 170bhp stock. It's a complete mystery.

It seemed to go quite well, certainly like it had near 200BHP anyway. :)
You going to the other RR in March?

If not then I guess way to prove it would be to find out what a stock FR does the 1/4 mile in and then test yours and the place to look would be the terminal speeds and if yours is a few MPH faster its a good bet to say you got a very good one. :)

Basically wherever there is a bad apple there is a good one, you got the good apple with your FR and that guy with the FQ-330 got a bad one as it failed to make even stock horsepower.

He didn't seem too happy considering it was remapped, I'm guessing it was a guff map as it was only done on the road.

Well the guy said at stock it made 305BHP, then he got same stuff put on as mine and made 395BHP but the SST box struggled with it and so they returned it to stock again. He then got another tuner to live map it on the road so guess he got a bit more than stock and much faster gear changes, but yeah not great really, but I have heard 330's struggle to hit their claimed figures.

Fiesta 1.8D, brilliant! Hope the lulz were worth £50 :p

Some nice metal there, good turnout for a small RR!

Ohh and nice road kill :D

Great day out guys/gals even with my road kill damage :o
Well pleased with 271bhp, a nice 40bhp increase over stock figures.

The Evo was very impressive, so much grip in the greasy conditions enabled cornering speeds most cars would have fallen off the road into the nearest bush! :p

I will fix the grill damage at the next service I think, to do it properly will involve removing the whole front clam so while it's off a few jobs that require clam off access will be carried out:

Pro Alloy rad (standard has plastic end caps!).
Braided brake hoses.
Stainless steel tow post to replace the standard rusty one.
2X Cracked indicators lenses.
Feather removal! :p

Neil.

Glad the car is OK Neil and yeah seemed to be no damage so not worth the messing around to get rid of some feathers if its all coming off at next service anyway. :)

Yeah the EVO does amaze me, though the winter Michelins really excel in such conditions. :)
