Missing Bristol woman confirmed murdered

Disgusting.

I don't see what's funny about it, unless you are laughing at this lawyers stupidity.

I think the lawyer was trying to make the point that the defendant engaged in concensual sex with the victim who later regretted it, rather than that she deserved to get raped because she was fat?

They seem to be building a case around him, who knows.

I'm still interested to see the evidence they have on him, apparently police were tipped off by some anonymous woman in tears over the phone who for all we know could have done it and be trying to frame him. :p

What are the odds on Tabak's girlfriend? ;)

Only thing I've heard is that the break through came from finding (presumably) his DNA in her flat.

Edit: Also his GF was away that weekend as well, seems the perfect oppurtunity for an illicit meeting between the two of them then her ending up dead as a result of a crime of passion, will be interesting to see how this one pans out in court.

According to some papers, it was indeed his girlfriend that went to the police.

Come on you can't be serious. He lived next door. I would have thought him living next door and DNA evidence would get thrown out. It could be anything from him stealing knickers off her washing line or anything, doesn't make him a murderer.

I think the way the whole case has been handled stinks, from one police bundle to another. Stitch up written all over it.

The case wouldn't get to court if all they had was a single spec of his DNA - more will no doubt come out in court.
