I use Zune yeah but just point the program to the folder the mp3s are saved in and it will automatically add them to its catalogue.

Only think i can think of if that doesn't work is that the mp3s are slightly odd (file format), it seems to be a bit picky on what AVIs it catalogues and what it doesn't so maybe thats what happens with music as well?

You can enable drag and drop on WP7, just need to do a quick registry tweak on your computer to allow it (something like changing a specific value from 0 to 1).

So i've had the phone a couple of days. It is very nice indeed.

Any recommendations on a case or screen protector? Would ideally have something that can slip on my belt.

Apps seem a little expensive and reviews are sparse. So i'm not inclined to spend on anything.

What would you guys suggest as essential apps? Is there another thread that has this already?

Is there a hidden expansion slot for memory? I have a feeling not - but had read somewhere there was a list of compatible cards.
 
another question. How do you view private facebook messages? All i can see is "what's new" and other status updates

yep - just sussed that about an hour ago :)

any other thoughts on cases?

also would like to upgrade the headphones that came with it - doesn't seem there are any compatible in ear with mic/control
