OK i have the original death adder, and its so stuffed under neigh and a little button sticky i feel i need a new one. I have freaky large hands, but don't know anywhere i can go to try out some hard core gaming mice. I was gonna get the new death adder (re spawn?) but one review said it had a 7f braided cord? my pc and mouse are less than 12" apart, i wondered if that would cause me issues. what i also want is to plug in and play, i dont even have the razor software installed, i find with to many options i start fiddling and then im never happy, no budget in mind so any suggestions welcome

Logitech MX518

Don't need to spend anything more than the £30 one of those costs, and logitech has epic customer support.

When you say freaky hands, what do you mean exactly? :p i have very long skinny hands myself, best mouse i've ever had for feel was the steelseries ikari, but can't beat the mx518 for cheap and wonderfulness :)

EDIT: hope you don't mind but im going to hijack slightly... i want a new keyboard, mainly play FPS gaming but i also do a LOT of typing, i hate small enter keys and i want audio controls. Essentially my question boils down to... is the steelseries shift keyboard any good?

personally won't switch again from a Microsoft wheel mouse optical. Tried a few expensive razors over the years as well as logitechs and just can't beat this £7 superstar ;)

I love my Kone, shame its the original and the wheel is a bit dodgey on it now.

I have a razer mamba, death adder and a logitech mx518. I'd recommend any of them as they all have excellent faetures at various price points :)

I don't recommend the MX518, I got it because everyone here recommends it and it honestly sucks, side button wise and shape wise, get a razer deathadder or something similar. Unless you have baby hands then by all means go for the logitech but i find the razers much more comfortable and much easier to access the side buttons.
