Trust me, im not.Don't be silly. You are probably getting confused with the console's unique ID (within the console's keyvault). This has nothing to do with it's IP address though.

It was ridiculously short sighted of him to only allow for about 4.5 billion addresses. At least with IPv6 there's no chance of running out since there's so many possibilities.
Apparently sometime in the next few weeks, the number of available IP addresses will run out.

Simply put, the creator of the internet made it as an experiment, with 4.3 billion possible IP addresses and didn't expect that the experiment wouldn't end.
