Simply stuff I've found on various forums over the years and save to my hard disk. None of it is my stuff and I of course recognise any copyright. If I can find the source, like the NSX above, happy to share it and any copyright owners who don't want their stuff here let me know and it's gone. All this is simply stuff I've downloaded from forums like this very forum and hosted to ensure no hyperlinks, not to hide the original source!

Saw the first picture of the NSX and made a mess of myself. I'll have to return each day to try and consume the rest.

Awesome.

You got any background on this one Housey? I'm guessing it's an Audi publicity shot but I can place a couple of the cars to the rear.

The front row are the three Crossthwaite & Gardner recreations - the C Type, the C Type Rekordwagen and the 39 D Type. I think the right hand one in the middle is the restored Karasik '38 D Type and a wild stab at the left hand one would be the original C/D hill climber from Riga.

That leaves what looks like another C Type at the rear but I'm not sure where that's from. Allegedly there's one in the VAG museum but I'm not 100% sure that it's a different one from the front row C type.

EDIT: Got the middle row round the wrong way - just spotted the double tyres on the right hand one.

Not sure, I'll pull my books and have a nose, but love the hill climb cars with twin rears, always look epic.

Great pics (saw them yesterday before they got ocuk'd) - So nice to see some decent photos where others are going 'ah wicked pics' as well :)

NSX pic is awesome

I'm sure you'll appreciate these pics Housey. I've been trying to hunt down pics from when my Dad raced national hot rods in the early 70's, not had much luck so far.

Good stuff, as I think I mentioned before your dad will have not doubt raced against my mates dad, Tom Laffey (121) who was British Champion for 3 years in the early/mid 70's if I remember correctly.

That NSX is such friggin gorgeous. Would have to be my dream car.

there was a lovely silver beemer coupe in pg1, pics gone now :(
