New low for this once great nation

Does make you wonder how the NHS has gone to allow such things to happen, someone openly saying they are going to gain weight to get an operation, money that could be spent on helping people out with cancer and other disease they have through no fault of their lifestyle.

Disgusting.

So far billions has went into beating cancer, this 1 man won't steal that money away. Don't worry. The fatty handling department has it's cut too but no where near as much as Cancer.

We can't just let him die.

Sorry.. I had to..

This is a new low? What about the suicide bombers, murderers, rapists and pedo's in the UK? I think some sense of proportion is needed (unintentional pun..)

Can I have a gastric band?

I gained 1 stone of weight and I now weigh 11 stone with a round belly.

I want to be 10 st and skinny again :(

Maybe I can also get surgical implants for free that make it look like I have a six pack.

Exercise is so last decade and out of fashion. Surgery is cool now!

You need to be my personal trainer.

^ not gay

You need my personal trainer, my old SGT PT instructor. Complete nutter who doesnt understand that I am not a kid anymore and that half the muscle in my leg is missing.

Still, he managed to do what the dieticians and doctors could not. Motivate me.

Incidently my doctor offered me a gastric band last year, I said don't be daft, I just need to stop being a lazy bum, contacted my old instructor and here we are 8 months later and almost eight stone lighter.

If you want any advice or got any to share, drop me an email.

That's my problem at the moment. Little motivation (other than health etc).

A stone a month? Did he do secret surgery on you to remove bits of your body? Crikey.

Its a bit slower now, it was a stone a week for the first month. Its down to eating in a certain way and exercise, loads of exercise.

Mr McCloud, who has diabetes, believes the operation will mean he can come off the insulin treatment for the condition.

Erm, what? His pancreas/liver is already knackered, it won't just fix itself! He may be able to control it more due to less stress on his organs, but it won't go away!
