I wish they would start with the rumble, so I could go to bed, I suppose they can't for obvious reasons.

oh I agree, they have a lot of younger talent aswell, take away nothing from fortune, or mcmg, amazing red etc etc, but constantly pushing and pushing older, near washed up talent, is what I don't get. I love what they are doing with flair and bischoff, that's the perfect roles for them, but why bring in hardy? He was practically a jobber on the match against anderson this week, not much different from the E, but has gone well out of shape. He looks bad in the ring, and even rvd couldn't carry him. In wwe, he had about 90% decemt to good matches, even as he was getting fatter, esp with drew. But now TNA for him seems an excuse to drink up and not give a damn.

for a long time they pushed main event mafia, and it got no one over, that was young, not till the end with sting and aj, and then after ajs run they went back to using other wrestlers.

I like what they have done with jeff though. Shame that it's sent merchandise packing and practocally no one shows up at house shows though, but from a kayfabe look, it was a brilliant thing to do. Jeff really comes alive in this role. But I guess it's why cena is never changed, because of business.

it's good tna have their own home grown talent, but never letting them do anything, by pushing them as main eventers is the problem. That and vince russo. God how I wish haymen would storm the place and dixie would shut her trap while haymen fires who he needs to from creative. That's really what tna needs. They have had the same ratings over the last year, and that's with hogan, bischoff, flair, hardy and rvd joining the frey. With mondayight exposure. With time square billboard advertising. People come to see what's happened and then just get bored and shut it off, and that's creatives (russo's) doing. Essentially, he is what's wrong with tna.

High five. Feel kinda sad doing an all nighter for wrestling but I've been off work for a week and my sleeping patern is all to wreck right now. Need to be proper tired to sort it out. :p

Really hope its good. Haven't paid for wrestling since wrestlemania 2008.
 
I'm just watching the 2007 rumble now, it's all I've got on DVD. Damn you VHS and no machine to play them on!! :p
Royal Rumble 2000 is still my favourite. HHH vs Cactus Jack in a street fight probably one of my favourite matches of all time. :cool:
 
Will be watching the Rumble tonight, haven't watched wrestling really in a couple months but it's always worth watching this event

Any clues as to who will be winning it this year? Triple H making his return?

Wonder if the rumble is longer than 60 minutes?

I would hope that the rumble lasts longer than 60 minutes, depends how long the intervals are I suppose. I expect they will have 60 second intervals between entrants seeing as its 40 men?
 
I want to order this but, I'm in a pickle where, the Sky isn't in my name or bank account.

I would happily pay for it myself, just haven't a clue how to :|

Edit: gonna do a bit of googling, see if I can pay via phone or something.

NWO/Hogan sold merch by the bucket load, it entirely depends on what sort of heel you play.
 
very true, but they were heels where it was cool to be a heel. plus its hogan, if theres one guy who will sell merchandise no matter what, its him.

tbh this should be true for cena aswell, but wwe are just ball-less tbh. and the fact that they havent built a face to take his poisition.
 
It is still cool to be a heel though, provided you do the correct kind of heel.

The type of heel Hardy is not going to sell lots of Merch, but Fortune style heels will ...
 
WWE's best heel of recent years is currently a boring face. No idea why they are keeping Orton a face when he has said time and time again he hates being a face.
