warcraft 3!
Best game ever.

I remembered playing the excellent Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube and being wowed by the graphics and also thinking at the same time "wouldn't it be great to play OoT again using this game engine".
I got my zelda collectors edition gamecube with Zelda: Windwaker which came with a special gamecube version of OoT
I also got RE4 on the Wii on which I spent many-a-seat-edged hour
Shenmue for myself such an awesome title for its day. I remember reading all of the little bit of news coming from Japan in the Official Dreamcast Magazine = mind blown 
Then the game delivered so much and has given me some of my fondest gaming memories!

this , one of the best games ive ever played , the second was good as well but the first was really just ace

hmm, fair enough, Everyone can have their opinions and all. but are you sure you're not suffering new game syndrome
I think he probably means that Dead Space 2 is the game he is enjoying the most at the moment as no matter how good the game is, can it really compete with other AAA titles?
Still, if it really is his favourite game of all time then that's cool.

What do you mean other AAA titles? Dead Space itself is an AAA title and the sequel is only better. So yep it can compete.

I bought ME1 and ME2 in an ebay bargain hunt. Finished 1 and thought... wow what a game, let me quickly just stick ME2 in the console and see what it's like.
...34 hours later (2 sick days) I put ME2 down. (to be completely honest, I do have a bad cold).
I have played many games before, none of which had me involved as MAss Effect 2 before and by far the best game I have ever played.

Several times over!
I think the "best game ever" is subject to the person and their time of playing certain games. For me the best will always be Ocarina of Time because I had much more fun playing games as a child, if it came out today I'd probably find it too simplistic as I prefer RTS and in-depth pc RPGS.
