Possible Test Drive Unlimited 2 information!

Was that not on hardcore physics then? Cause that in TDU 1 was scary :D

So tempted to get it this week, but would really prefer it on the xbox
 
Does it have any stupid activations for online play?

As I'm interested in this, but if I don't like it I would want to trade it.

Just had a fiddle around, trying out Fully Assisted, Sport, and Hardcore. Fully Assisted is pap, Sport is ok, but Hardcore is spot on. It's still no sim, but that's not what TDU is about for me.
 
Damn it. I'm sat at work and mine is probably at home waiting for me.

Work really gets in the way of our fun and games.

No online codes, which wouldn't affect you as a first owner anyway. Shame really, wonder how long until it's overrun with pirates.

It's alright, I may have it installed now, but can't really play it until Thursday. No need to be jealous:D

How big's the install? My 40gb may start to feel the strain.
 
You had any chance to try online? Basically all the bad stuff of TDU1 sorted? My order hinges on your reply :p

Sounds right to me, you don't want ultra sim standard, but you don't want something that feels like Outrun :D

Looking forward to this I'm not expecting a huge improvement over the previous game but more TDU is awesome for me :D
 
Just caved in and ordered. Decided to do a pre-order rather than from the place that's already shipping as the place i pre-ordered from gives a bugatti veyron supersport as an exclusive for 60 days from launch (so i should be able to destroy you all) :D

Ahh ok, I can't either, just used google translate on some song lyrics, so its probably wrong! :)

If its anything like TDU 1 with better graphics, offroading/suvs and 2 islands, and fixed online..of course ;)

I'll be a happy little man!

You do realise all it does is unlock it to buy - you still have to make money within the game to own it and that cars never going to be cheap :p

Why Im not too bothered about the cars as theyll all end up being DLC not long after, Im more bothered that there will be no Lambos or Maseratis :(

From what I understand to get Ferrari licensed they had to agree not to feature Lambos - thats what Ive gathered when I looked over the TDU2 forums - no idea if theyll turn up in DLC eventually...

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to provide a follow-up to the feedback we have received about Lamborghini following the recent announcement of the car list.

We are huge fans of Lamborghini, and put forth a great effort to include our beloved Lambos in the game. In fact, the very first car that was developed for TDU2 was the Gallardo LP560. Unfortunately, we ran into obstacles in the licensing process that prevented us from being able to use Lamborghini in the final product.

During the licensing process, we were presented with the difficult decision of having either Lamborghini or Ferrari in the final product. To make the best decision for our fans, we gathered feedback from the community, and analyzed behaviors from the first Test Drive Unlimited, which led us to the eventual conclusion that Ferrari would be our final choice.

I apologize to anyone who had their heart set on cruising the coasts of Ibiza in a Diablo GT. As always, we’ll continue to do our best to bring the most sought-after cars into TDU2, and hope that everyone will soon experience the thrill of driving their favorite dream cars.

While Im at it, of course theres no Porsche either :( (EA own the license)

EDIT: Decided to wait for my shopto order as it should turn up next Wednesday, so dont see value in ordering it now when I doubt Ill see it arrive til Friday now - Ill live vicariously through Dyson :p

Mine turned up this morning and had a quick blat through the 1st 5 mins, its not bad at all, graphics are good and the 1 car I've driven so far looked really nice, and watching the roof rise on the California was impressive.

Will try it with my wheel tonight
