I have a Samsung PB22-J SSD that I've just installed my OS onto having upgraded to SandyBridge and the Windows Experience Index rates it at 6.9.
I find this a bit annoying as 2 of my mates have just bought OCZ vertex 2Es and despite having lower read and write speeds their WEI rating is 7.3.
I've posted screen captures from CrystalMark and WEI below, if people could post theirs below as comparison that'd be lovely.

EDIT: Yet to OC my SandyBridge 2500k, hence the low CPU score.

WEI is pointless as a benchmarking tool. The numbers are simply an index value generated by a proprietary, unpublished algorithm, as such it's not possible to use it for comparisons.

I was just hoping for people to put up some screenshots to compare various drives and WEIs. Bit of a show you mine if you show me yours :p.

You can use the base score to buy programs and other software that are matched to your computer's base score. For example, if your computer has a base score of 3.3, then you can buy any software designed for this version of Windows that requires a computer with a base score of 3 or lower.

Taken from windows help and support.

That's not true at all, if you open a command prompt and run the command winsat -disk you can see exactly what tests it is running, they are all valid and proper tests.

Don't think so, it might measure a couple of things but the results it outputs it's like its reading a list from microsoft and says: "hmm this one is not as new as the 1st on the list, so.... -1 point for that." etc.

It measures sequential read/writes, random read/writes, access times etc. What else would you want a hard drive benchmark to do?
