Just gone past level 22 so I can now see all the final events in the extreme series...

Ok, really.!! Formula GT Series with average 20 laps each for an entire championship? With no save option? I won't have enough time to do this in an evening... lol weekend job from the looks of it. Mind you, I need a Formula GT car first..

I don't get PD. They've left some rather important bits out of this game.. Saving inbetween races being a bit of a biggie..
 
please help i need to copy my save game before my ps3 crashes again.

ive got latest update but cant find where to copy the file as under save games it still says cant copy this file????

If you have installed the 1.05 update all you need to do is go to the game save, hit triangle, select copy and point to a USB stick or external drive you have connected.
 
Anyone completed the latest Seasonal bonus races yet (incl Corvette around Indy Road circuit as the 5th/final race)?

Dodgy timings rule once again if you havent

Between 1st and 2nd timing beacons on the 1st lap the player magically loses around 20s on every single run , and whats even stranger is the gap between the two markers isnt even that long hahaha

Can easily get Silver, but the gold I personally think is out of reach (all others in this batch were very simple - Gold completed on first run apart from the Cappaccino which I missed by .3s on 1st attempt)

Lolwut :confused:

I spanked them with my RM ZR1 easily, maybe you lose time as the competitor is on the fast bit when you are in the slow bit, it will be the other way around half a lap later.

nope - I thought similar , but I gained a MASSIVE 2s on the fast stretch lol

The other thing is, wtf are the gaps so massive in a rolling start - it seems to be like 10 car lengths betwen you and 11th place as soon as "Start" disappears:confused:


I wil look out for the ZR1 - cheers

I too won this event last night using a RM ZR1. Wins without too much trouble, even managed to start lapping many of them - the RM ZR1 kills them and it's near in impossible to lose in that car - unless you're a really, really bad racing game driver..:p

Gains you a lot of XP and mega credits too.. !!

I only upgraded to lvl 1 of everything (which was enough for all the other bonus races in that group) - seems like on that one you need to upgrade all the way to beat the guy on pole - creamed him by 10s a lap once all the upgrades were onboard, but feels a bit like Chelsea trying to pay for the title by spending £70m in Jan lol


(the added time still occured as mentioned above - about 18s just magically got added during the infield section....way more than he ever gained in any of the other laps in the same section)

Is there a generally accepted "fastest/best car" in the game??

I only ask because I've tuned the Veyron I won to over 1000bhp but the damn thing handles like a bowl of porridge on the corners! :confused:

I don't know, but I know what you mean... In Gt3, it was pretty safe to say the pennzoil R34 Skyline race car was pretty much the overall best car not including the specials that cost millions.. lol

I think the redbull X2010 is regarded as pretty quick, but I've found the ZR1 that you RM and upgrade everything is very quick and stable and can be hard to better.. good car.

I won the Veyron, its rubbish. Quick down the straights but as you say, handles like its on ice..!!

Not really, there are best cars in different classes and even then it matters if you like handling or speed.
Take for instance the Sauber C9 and Bentley Speed 8, the Sauber is much faster but the Speed 8 handles better so on a twisty track the Speed 8 will be better but at Le Mans the Sauber C9 will be faster.
