Game RAGE msgs

Havent really gotten any messages, may have had some but since i only read english all those foriegn ones i get could have been abusive, though i have had ppl cursing me over voice comms on the ps3 before, those guys i tend to hunt ingame just to get them more annoyed

I have been online gaming for years mate so yeah I can relate to this post....I have had and seen abuse being thrown out to good players and bad players for years from online gaming to LAN tournaments where people are physically hurt over it! so I can honestly say I have seen with my eyes how badly people take losing at a game! I just see the thread as a slight ego boost, im entitled to my opinion, its a forum so maybe you should try and not let things get to you so badly.....

I appreciate your reply, however if you re-read your first post, don't you think it was a little aggressive/perhaps could've been worded a little softer?
And I won't let things like this get to me, I'm happily relaxed thanks :)
 
I never play CoD by myself so I'm always in a party so I never have to hear any nonsense ingame / in lobby.

Other than that not actually received any messages.
 
Starcraft 2 can get some interesting ones, as some players comment on what a good game it was (gg) while others just call you a faggot! :D
 
I think someone threatened to come round to my house and beat me up once, i think i just replied with 'thats nice' and didn't hear from them again :confused:
 
Sweet I'm now crap at the game for using a weapon they didn't like and they are amazing because they can run around with an Intervention while going negative every game :) (and no it wasn't tubes, wrong map for that :D)

I don't mind 1 or 2 quick scopers since they are an easy kill, but when most of their team is doing it, it got boring fast, all you could hear the entire game was 7 or 8 Interventions going off. So after those 2 games I left while finishing top in both games and that's when the messages come rolling in "1vs1 quickscope", "you're terrible face me 1vs1" and so on.

Reminds me of two people I beat on FIFA a few years back. One guy claimed to be ex Navy and had some software that showed my IP address to him, then converts it into an address :D

Then a second guy claimed to work for EA and said I'd glitched to beat him on FIFA, sent me loads of messages saying how he'd get me banned etc.

Total lunatics.

It does surprise me those people that put their real names as their GT's and there location (Town etc) wouldn't be hard to find. And there are some ****** people out there.
 
I got a couple when playing a lot of RDR online :D

It's fun watching the other half play Fifa. The rage messages from people there make the RDR crowd look like kids.
 
You see i have played:

COD,HALO3 and halo wars. For the last 3 years. Touched a few other games. But not a lot at all.

I thought these msgs where just FPS. But to hear of RDR and FIFA. Really opens your eyes up.

I made this thread. As I want to investigate this a bit further :)
