If You Had £2k

As the title says, what would you spend it on and why?

The reason I'm asking is I might be coming into some money (£2k) and I have two options:

Option 1:

- Buy MBP 15" (When they get refreshed)

Option 2:

- Put £1k towards a car
- Put around £300 towards driving lessons (Currently have £100 towards that atm)
- Spend around £200 on new clothes
- Then either trying and find a decent laptop for around £400 or put the £500 in the bank for savings?

Option 2, you’ll have your notebook and be saving towards something that will give you freedom, fun and may be required in a future career.

Regardless, i'd still try and save at least half. You never know when you might need it!

I think with 2k however, you could get a decent laptop (unless you game a lot) a car, insurance and driving lessons.

Think Its your best bet... Its just the logical choice really..

Cant say I know much about them, but I know that my Girlfriend is paying like 25 quid a lesson and its dragging out. I think Id rather bomb £500 or however much it is and see if they can get my through.

Driving solid for a week or so is bound to be better than 1hr lessons every few days.

Gaining my driving license, although not so special now, was one of the best achievements of my life at the time. Certainly more vital than a laptop thats for sure!. opens up so many doors.

Agreed. It something that I haven't been able to live without at the most unexpected of times. My previous comment still stands.
