Horrible horrible feeling

your son looks so cheeky. Bet he is a right little character? I hope he makes a speedy recovery and all the best to him.

I found out yesterday that its a boy Me and my partner are having so Im over the moon. He will be building Computers before he is building lego
 
ah crap,

bit of a bad turn.

currently sitting getting a blood transfusion hopefully this will right things and we should be home midweek :)

bloody typical. he's been fine all day,

this was him happy and playing this afternoon

you jump home for an hour to grab a shower and things turn to crap :(

All life's priorities change when kids come along don't they. I have 2 kids now and when something happens its as if its all in slow motion, every trip and fall has my heart in my throat.

nearly had 2 of them in the hospital today, my daughter fell down the stairs at her grans this afternoon :(


seems we're in for some serious bad luck this month lol
 
I had to take my daughter to hospital on her 2nd birthday and it was all my fault.

She didnt get a sleep so was knackered by the time everyone arrived so I had her standing on a chair at the table opening some of her presentsm trying to get her into the swing of things, had my 2 arms round her opening the presents for her and she slid through my arms :(

She hit the ground and everyone just stopped what they were doing, she just lay there for a few seconds in shock then screamed the house down. Her bottom teeth had came through her lip and the blood was everywhere. Spent a good 3 hrs in hospital and I felt like the biggest chump on the planet.

She is 8 now and still has a small scar from it. Currently in the room next door having a sleep over with her best m8, I have given up on telling them they need to get to sleep :)

She came in a few minutes ago saying she couldn't sleep because her friend keeps farting and the room stinks :D
 
Argh fs. He's taken a reaction to the transfusion now so that's been stopped halfway through

Someone has it in for my boy I'm convinced
 
This is why I like coming into a thread late. Wouldn't be able to bear the suspense and it's not even my child! God knows how you must feel. :/

Great news mate I can't think of what you & your Missus has been through. I have a new nephew who was born a few week back & is a Blue heart baby. :(
I really can't imagine the stress & pain parents must feel during cases like this.
I wish you all the Best of Luck. :)
 
settled down now all happy to be home and eating us out of house and home lol


thanks to everyone for their kind words over the various ops,

only black cloud atm is that due to the palate repair coming away it means another operation at some point in the near future to replace the last ops good work :(
