Could try loaning him out? Other than that I've no idea - maybe just leave him be and hope he stops sulking eventually?

Just beat Man U at home 2-0 with an 'expect a win' and attacking mentality... tehehe :D

Oh dear I am so happy, 2-0 down at half time away at City, dead and buried, get it back to 2-2 in the 89th minute with a pen!! So proud of my boys! :'(

Does anyone have any good hints and tips, not necessarilyy what players to sign though.

I can hardly string a couple of wins together!

Play a simple formation, and tailor it to your teams strengths, take your best 3 or 4 players, and make sure they are playing where they play best.
No sense playing Gerrard out at AML even though he may be the best player at AML in the Liverpool squad, play him at AMC and if needs be don't play with wide players like that.

Look foreign but inside the e.u to avoid works permit issues for transfers.

Scout scout scout!

Look for youth if you want a long game.

Play direct football with limited crativity with bad teams, with players sticking position.

If you're a top 4 side from any country then you can pretty much do whatever you want ;)

As has been said, it all depends on which team you are playing as, and which players you have in your team.

I'm currently onto my fifth season with Oxford United, and my second season in the Premier League. Having one of the smaller teams, I'm currently playing a 4-4-2 standard formation, and it seems to be working out ok. 6 games into the season, and have just beaten United at Old Trafford 2-1!

For me, FM11 is by far the best FM so far. The game itself is great this time around, and as an experience, my Oxford United save has been a really enjoyable one to play, and had some excellent moments during the five seasons!

Just a shame it's so damn addictive!

2nd Season with Bayern. It's 1st January 2015. Have won every single match, League, CL, World Club etc.

Definitely my last season as it's too easy in Germany. :)

Getting Wigan to the CL is harder than I thought :(

City, Arsenal and Chelsea are a given to come above me, and I have to compete with United, 'Pool and Tottenham. With Sanogo injured. Sad, sad times :(.

im satvin 6th atm with wigan with 5 games left, all of which i can win. 11 points clear of liverpool in 7th tho they have 2 games in hand.

im also only 5 points behind 2nd place, so with some good results i could get top 4!

11.2.1 is the latest. Steam should update your FM to 11.2.1 if it hasn't already or you've asked Steam not to update games for you.

All it is is a fix for the Polish leagues and something about contract lengths in network games.

Football Manager 2011 v11.2.1

General -
===========
- Fixed issue where old saves with Polish league loaded could not be loaded
- Users can now change contract length in network game

Finished my first season as Man Utd (not got access to my AFC Wimbledon game because my iMac is dead atm). Spent a hell of a lot of money, but with an eye on the long term future :p. Ferdinand had a stormer;

Probably very good, never got him on 2011 though he always wanders off to Chelski :(

i got him for wigan for 21mill in 2nd season, first game i try him on the wing and he gets injured in 7 minutes. out for 8 weeks.

is there anyway to put your transfer budget back into the club to help pay of debt?

First season and you've got Donovan, Jones, Mata, Rodwell, Rossi AND Wickham? :p Some of those must be on loan Shirley? :D

I guess you sold Kuzszak once Lindegaard arrived?

Don't think so. If you think about it the debt is meant to be dealt with by the board/chairman so why would the manager give a few million quid to the board to cut the debt? You'd have to FMRTE your game or something like that to fix the debt. Syke is probably the person to talk to about that kind of thing. ;)
