has any one had experience of Corsairs RMA process when it comes to PSU's?.
ive got to RMA a HX620W & i'm wondering how long it takes, & more importantly where the RMA centre is.

The RMA centre is in the Netherlands.

My HX520W died on Friday, January 28. I sent it on Tuesday, February 1, and they received it on the 3rd. I'm currently waiting for them to send me a replacement. I hope I get confirmation of this tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat my PSU yet bang yestaday, still wating for Corsair to email me a rma#

It does say this on there site though "NOTE: Please allow five business days for RMA processing, PLUS transit time to Corsair and back. "

Expect a HX650 :D Mine took about 10 days for the RMA to be processed (that was during the Easter holiday period last year though)

I sent mine back with interparcel (via UPS) cost me about £22.

Do Corsair refund the postage if the PSU is found to be faulty? As mine is only 3 months old and i ain't happy about having to fork out a 1/3 of the cost of the PSU on postage.

Sent mine in about May last year and used parcel2go, cost £11.75. Took about a week I think and got a HX650 back. Although the fan wasn't as quiet and has got worse, it's now the loudest thing in my case.

Hopefully yours is better.

I sent mine about 2 weeks ago, within 8 days I had a brand new HX650 in replacement for my HX620. It cost me less than £20 through parcelmonkey :)

Never asked them but I doubt it. :(

Do corsair ask for a copy of the sales invoice for rma, or does the serial no suffice. Currently use an hx 850w, (bought secondhand). Curious to know just incase i ever do have to rma it.

No probs mate,:) some manufacturers can be very fickle. I have a borked enermax liberty 620w that my brother gave me, unfortunately he lost the invoice and they wont accept serial no.

Yeah, I read that the replacement should be an HX650W :D

I sent mine using Parcel2go and DHL, and it also cost me £22 inc. VAT.

It's just the serial number, although on the RMA form you have to put down where you bought it from and the date that it was purchased.

Nope. Just date of purchase & retailer will suffice. Damn beaten.
