Hyundai

Why don't KIA put it in the Ceed 3 door and jazz it up a bit, they would have a real winner on their hands.

You need the Forte

Indeed only stateside though isn't it? I used to work for KIA many years ago. The improvements they have made in the last 5 years are staggering. They just need a few halo models now, small sports car mx5 in size. Maybe a hot Ceed or even picanto, help sex up the brand.

The hyundai coupe is well known for good handling I thought

I used to own a Prelude and the standard handling and 4WS was the worst thing about the car

Im not saying the Hyundai handled badly, I though it handled well too, just that out of the three cars I listed it was the worst, Ive owned a couple of preludes too and once you get used to it (i.e learn how much assist the computer will provide so you dont turn too much then have to correct yourself) it was great, hence why Car and Driver gave it the "best handling car under $30,000" award. Ive also owned a Celica and borrowed a 2007 Coupe and out of the three I found the Hyundai had the worst performance, felt the cheapest, had the worst handling and didn't have the same reputation for reliability.

I always thought Hyundai was owned by GM.... If so it'll no doubt be the 1.6lt turbo found in the Corsa vxr.

Either way both engines have their issues!

That's not true.

Getting fed up of constant guestimations and drivel from certain posters. If you don't know something about it, googling does not count as knowledge nor does hearsay or 'I think'.

you might be mistaking them for the other Korean Car Manufacturer GM bought - Daewoo.

Hyundai have their fingers in many many pies, i'd be very very surprised if they had anything at all to do with GM

As for the Prelude/Celica/Coupe thing

I honestly though the Coupe had the better interior, the Celica the worst and the Prelude was ok but mine had factory optional leather/alacantra the standard seats are awful IMO i've only driven a 2.0 Coupe so cant comment on that
