Do you use the word 'bruv'...?

Lawd above! All da time I do me son. I use i' quite often, usually infron' ov me 'ome boys from croydon. They often commen' on 'ow good me vocabulary is by shakin' me by da 'and an' offerin' beautiful birds on a plate fer me. I love i' I do., innit.
 
I use bruv, a fair bit now actually. Never that seriously, for a more serious term of endearment, I use 'mate'. I use bruv in a semi joking way, but use it all the same :)

I think that it can be chavvy, depending on the context that it's used in. I also use the word 'brav' (variation on the pronounciation of bruv) and 'blud'
 
I has occurred to me that due to overuse of mumble/voice coms on the internet i use the C word as a term of endearment far too much >.<

I think its more cockneys that use the word? im from Manchester so I dont hear it to much....gringe when I do.
 
Never use it myself, and dont really notice it in general use either, what I have noticed is the number of people who use boss.
