Really depends on what you are looking for, not every game is aiming for sim level handling and realism. It's much better than say Hot Pursuit, and not a million miles away from GT5, just takes some getting used to.

It's all about the cruising and adventuring, barely done any races myself, just touring round Hawaii again, and absolutely loving it.

They're saying that and probably comparing it to Forza. You can't compare the games, if you're expecting an ultra-realistic driving model, you won't get it with TDU2. If you're after a fun driving game that allows you to go anywhere that you can see (apart from into the sun and sea), then TDU2 is for you

So what cars will everyone be aiming for? Me personally, I want an Ariel Atom, and at least one of the Zonda's

How's the tuning in the game? Is it a simple "1 2 3" step tuning system like in TDU, or slightly more involving?

Thanks, all i'm looking for is like you describe, a fun game that doesn't take itself too serious. I wasn't expecting a sim, I have GT5 and thats not what I want.
The way people were making it out was that you had no control over the car. Glads you've put me right though, think I'm gonna order this.

Yeah they were probably saying you had no control in the way that they'd like control. But certainly, the cars don't handle like a sim, it's more an arcade racer and if you accept TDU and TDU 2 for what they are on the surface (a simple driving game, with many races and side-events set on a beautiful tropical island that you have complete freedom on) then you'll love it.

This game is pretty lol.

Graphics are quite poor and the engine sound is poor. But its more of the same of tdu so I'll make do for a while and see if I trade it before Feb 24th to maximise trade in at game.

i was watching it being played in a certain game store today , and the tele wasnt even HD, and it looked pretty good graphic wise, nice n colourfull make a change from some of the games nowadays whos colour palette, is always dull.

The Mustang is the most expensive and also the slowest out of the three. I went with the Esprit.

The casino is really well made, enjoying it a lot! :cool:

Ordered mine from the same place on Tuesday for the PS3. The game arrived this morning, and I have just had the casino and Veyron code arrive in my email about an hour since.

Can't wait to get home from work and try this out, loved the original all those years since.
