Ouch, to be honest if it was me id claim too in order to try and make back the money id lose by being off work...

As pathetic as it sounds I once got whiplash on the dodgem cars (yeah talk about setting yourself up for it) after I was knocked stationary and then hit full speed by a car made before health and safety was even an idea, and it frigging hurt for days, had the bruises even longer after the neck pain had gone.

Didn't care much tho as they gave me free rides on everything for the rest of the day (prob worried I might sue or something) :D
 
He didn't lose much money at all from being off from work, ISTR. We'll never know the true amount as this is MikeHiow, but I wouldnt be suprised if he didn't lose a penny through being off work.
 
£2.5k seems quite a lot. My fiancée got £1,800 but she was out of work for a month and has lingering effects. You must have really played it up to get so much.

Anyway, whippy compo for the sake of whippy compo is a real shame. I wish people weren't such nancies and could handle a some pain for a few days.

Yeah but not properly, it lived. That was 50+k ago now. Its time for it to be forefully removed from my hands now, as i seem to be failing to optionally do it.

Doing quotes today, because of the old ******* who crashed into the back of my ST in May, I now have the priviledge of it adding £200 onto the cheapest quotes I'm getting.
