***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

Even though the Cr/Exp from the seasonal events is laughable I did have fun doing them.
I decided to just use cars I have and not mod anything, for the 400bhp 4WD races I used a 345bhp Impreza rally car and had lots of fun.

I do find it a bit stupid that they force you to buy a Ferrari F1 car, could they not set it up that you can use one just for the races without having to buy one.

Sounds silly but i think they somehow managed to find a way of detecting cloned cars and using a 20mil car for a seasonal was a great way of finding out more info. there are already rumours that update 1.06 will stop cloned cars from being traded etc etc.
 
It's 10m for the F10 and 12.5m for the F2007, this doesn't vary as they're both in the new dealership, jeez gais.
Really annoying this, I'd saved 15m and was waiting for a 2J to show up in used, my housemate, who is an idiot, then insists on buying the F10 straight away, despite having two weeks to do the seasonal, guess what shows up in used? :mad::mad::mad:
It'll probably be weeks before I see that again :(

Sydney you know you can cycle the used dealership faster right? it's not cheating but just goto a license test then hit next 4 times to skip along from say B1 test > B5 test then when you back out the UCD will have cycled to another listing.

There is also a PDF file around that lets you work out what car wil be where on what cycle but it's very complicated to use and i never figured it out lol

lol yea, I know, but it's still a grind, particularly with the slow loading times and moneys is an issue still. Would be interesting to see that pdf, figure out how the algorithm works
