I taken job at Real Sporting who had just been relegated to Spanish 2nd Division. Thought it would be a good challenge to get them back to La Liga and challenge Barca / Real. They are a rich club so was given £75M for transfers. That's huge! Couldn't believe it. But they have a small wage budget so..

It's year 2015. Signed about 8 players so far, Didier Drogba, Andrey Arshavin, Ivica Olic, Gai Assulin and a couple of decent regens.

First game coming up :) Pre season, 3-0 Birmingham, 11-0 some random spanish team, 10-0, random spanish team, 3-0 lazio

Most annoying bug ever in my game. Was playing a dual game - 2 managers. One in charge of Liverpool, one in charge of Cambridge United - plan to stick with Cambridge once I get them up a few leagues, but Liverpool keeps it more interesting until then.

Anyway, I mutually terminate a Liverpool players contract with one manager, then when I selected manager 2 I had the option "agree to mutual termination: accept, cancel". Clicking either button does nothing as does going on holiday. So frustrating as I can't do anything. Gonna have to start a new game.
 
Not looking forward to my first season in EPL but my team has to gel i suppose been beat 2-1 of burnley and losing to Liverpool atm.

Good old Leigh Griffiths!!
What is John Fleck like? I'm assuming he is from Rangers? Has decent stats in my game but not sure whether to take a chance on him (Southampton struggling in the Premiership) :).

yeah one from rangers does pretty well for me but i am struggling big time :(
 
Contract negotiations seem a bit strange.

Approaching the end of my first season playing as Villa. John Carews contract set to expire at end of season, currently on 53k a week. Was thinking of trying to offload him in Jan transfer window but games started to stack up so he broke into first team, and then scored a 7 goals in 6 games. Been mostly playing 4-5-1 formation with gabby up front and he been scoring for fun, but now starting to play 4-4-2 so Carew suddenly had a future at the club. Opened negotiations he wanted

81k a week
1.1 million signing on fee
750k for agent
Clause in contract for 10% of any fee he is sold for
Clause in contract to match the top earner at the club
1 year deal
15k goal score bonus
1.1 million for team of the year
10k apperance

I countered with

35k a year
450k signing on fee
250k for agent
1 year deal
7k goal bonus
7k appearnce

His agent countered with wanting 500k for himself no other changes, deal done
 
Decided to move my local team Kidsgrove Athletic into the BSN with a slight tweak to balance them with other teams as the league they were in was not playable.

Bugs me not having logos but do any logo packs go down the leagues that far?
 
Going to start a Barca game, i know it should be easy as hell but any tips on tactics and training for them? I know i should win most games with any old tactic but im so bad at the game ill probably still finish mid table :p
 
Gah rage quit already with Barca, i dont get how im so terrible at this game, i spent ages at the start sorting my training out, then tried a few tactics in friendlys and went with what one of my coachs suggested as the best, and my first proper games were spanish super cup home and away with seville, first game i lost 1-0 despite having 20 shots and them only having 3, then the one at home i lost 2-1, once again me with 20 odd shots and them with just 4 cant beleive how stressed this game makes me :p

Have tried a 4-3-2-1 and also 4-2-2-2 neither seem any good, meh ill keep at it but if i loose again ill probably rage quit :p
