Why are you in on a saturday night?

Recently moved into our new home and saving cash, i really cant go out anymore and get wasted and wake up the next morning only to find out ive spent 70-100 quid.

Growing old :D

when you hit 35 you tend to look forward to "nights out"...IN

bottle of wine and a good film = nice than paying £4 for a bottle of beer in town then trying to get a cab home at 1am

...nice to get every now and again though but it's rare

Because i was out on Saturday afternoon and i didn't fancy 'sleeping' over at someone's house, which would lead to another week of tiredness and getting no work done.

In uni putting a talk together but thankfully I'm not alone in the office. Really busy fortnight so don't have much choice but to sacrifice this weekend.

Was supposed to be going to a house party, yet as soon as I got near the place my mate phoned me to say it's been cancelled, so I spent over an hour walking back..

Crap Saturday tbh.

If I get a phone call asking me to come out within the next hour or so then I'll go out, otherwise I'm just going to stay in bed and browse the internet.

Because I got completely **** faced last night, do not remember half the evening, even photos that have appeared on FB I have no recollection of ever being taken.
Also I left another jacket in the same club I left my tux jacket in the last time I got blindo and went clubbing.
One tux Jacket £400 quid
One Moleskin jacket £150

Night out fail.

Mental note to self*
Leave your sodding jacket at home the next time you go out or moderate your drinking you fool!

I'm pretty sure you must be related to me. I can't take a jacket or anything that isn't attached to me out because I will lose it. Learnt the hard way a few times like you although the last time or 2 I have been lucky and the next day a friend has found my lost item or the last place I was at had it still so there is hope!!

Since new years though I don't take the chance though,if I know I will be having more than 1~2 drinks I don't take a jacket or anything else that won't be necessary!

Being a happily married family guy who looks forward to spending some time with his missus after having been out of the house working nightshifts lends itself to wanting to stay in.

I'd planned to go see a friend but he wasn't feeling up to it. Staying in, drinking tea, watching TV and mashing F5. When I'm old and housebound I'll probably regret this :p
