What are your views on wheel trims?

Today I have gone and put a rather fetching set of black wheel trims on my daily driver!

They were cheap off the 'Bay :D

Put it back in the bin store out kid, red means plastic rubbish doesn't it? ;)

Sorry, didn't understand that!

Yes, they are plastic. So were the original Peugeot ones that were on. Which I have cleaned up and stored away until I decide to put them back on. :)

Don't mind wheel trims at all, provided they cover the wheel properly. Doesn't look very good when you can see the steel wheel in the gaps behind it, so it's best to keep those gaps as small as possible in my opinion. For that reason, I think the genuine trims look better... such as:

I also think sticking with silver is best (contrasts better with the car's paintwork), but each to their own. :)

My 206 had trims, one got fired into space, another got destroyed and the other two were nicked. Looked better with just the black steels all cleaned up I thought. Bit of curbing later and they were just as good as that black wheel with polished lip craze and cost me nowt!
