***Ski / Board Season 2010/11***

Was in Flaine (Northern Alps, France) at the beginning of Jan.
Had a great time but the snow was crap - first time I've ever been skiing in the rain :(

I'm hoping that the scheduled snow actually comes, but I'll be aiming high up I think. Really nervous actually about my boots! They're a very tight fitting, so hopefully they're not going to kill :P
Off tmro :D schwinnng!

there is snow forecast from Tuesday next week for Les Arcs (and lots of other resorts) - not a massive dump but some snow

That's a positive I guess. Can't believe its been so long since they had anything! Always happens when I chose to go skiing, there's never any snow whatever time of the season haha

Heading out to Snowshoe tomorrow :D Currently heavy snow at the moment. Only annoying part is we have to leave around 6:30pm and is a 7hr drive without stops :( Oh well!

Just back from Chamonix where the resort is doing its best with pretty poor cover. Thankfully it has started snowing there now and looks like there will be a fair amount over next 10 days. I'm back there in March so need plenty to make up for two relatively poor snow trips so far this season.

Anyone been up to Scotland at all over the past few years?

Considering driving up there at some stage later in the season for a 2nd snow trip this season.... any recommendations on resport at all?

Just booked second weekend of March out there - hooray for impulse flight purchases!

This is what happens when you have too many friends who can visit Whistler on a weekend and love to tell me about it....
