As above i can hit 730 with no voltage increase, but if i push it further in furmark it gets jumpy (hope you get me), any tips on how to get it further, what should i push the voltage to etc.

What if any voltages have you tried? most cards top out around 750-775 on stock air cooling without extra voltage, 800MHz will almost definitely need 1.02 volts minimum tho a couple of people on here have managed less with good clocking cards, from my experience 800MHz completely stable typically needs around 1.040-1.060.

i havent tried any voltage increases, im not sure if you can using precision i think i may have to switch to afterburner, but i do wish not to

I'm using afterburner and am running mine at 800 on 1.0v. No way will you hit 800 without bumping up the voltage from stock.

ok ive just downloaded afterburner the voltage is at 987 atm, il bump it to 1.0 and see if i can hit 800mhz, also do i turn force constant voltage on?

Ive tested mine extensively at 800/1600 on 1.012v, benchmarks such as heaven 2.1, 3dm11, lost planet 2, resi evil 5 and dirt2, add in a lot of bfbc2 and they were fine, went back to my stock voltage clocks of 751/1502 though as it's more than plenty, plus they run a bit cooler.

I just whacked the voltage straight onto max and got my cards in SLi @ 830/1875 perfectly stable. Temps never go above the 60s in games. Fur Mark maxed them out at about 77°C.

why not furmark?

It's not a relevant test for anything. All it does is stress the card beyond its normal operating limits, overheat it, cook eggs and turn on the vacuum cleaner on the card.

It's crap in testing anything, be it stability or max temps.

For stability testing I would recommend a handful of benchmarks such as Unigine Heaven or/and Tropics and some more demanding games like Metro 2033, Crysis or BFBC2 for a few hours. Always use max settings to stress the card the most.

Your memory clocked up to 2000mhz and it's okay? Mine seems to have stability issues at anything above 1700, but to be fair I've not tried raising it above stock again since bumping the voltage to 1.0.

Does it make much of a difference?
