Stopped for speeding

How accurate do you think GPS is, in a clear area like a motorway, travelling at a constant speed?

Erm as accurate as GPS, which, allowing for terrain, is pretty accurate! :o:D

Don't have a GPS / Nav, don't use them. (Old school :o)

How did you find out? Did you send your fine and licence off and it was returned to you with a note?

34 in a 30? lol, giving a ticket for that is completely unnecessary. Exactly the kind of thing that causes me to lose all respect for the police.

Usually I'd agree with you, but some people manage to A) talk themselves into a ticket or B) be subject to an operation where there may be further guidelines for officers. Those are the only situations where I could see myself doing that. Words of advice are usually effective enough. TBH, you'd really have to justify the potential paperwork by not sending your license in for me to issue a ticket. Not something I'd do lightly.

I surrendered my license but apparently the Officer involved never did anything with his copy of the ticket so there was no offense for the Central Ticket Office to process.
