Possible Test Drive Unlimited 2 information!

Despite my post above, which is purely to help out, I don't feel this way about the game. I am enjoying it, I know there are issues but a lot of games have even worse issues and they're still somewhat enjoyable. The graphics really aren't an issue for me, I don't see why people think they're crap. Sure, the animation of the characters on screen isn't brilliant, but it is a driving lifestyle game, it is a rather unique genre and for that I enjoy it. Nothing beats getting into your favourite car (the Atom for me atm) and then just bombing around everywhere at high speed. I loved this about the first, and I am still loving it in the second. In a few weeks all of these issues will be forgotten when they're all fixed, and multiplayer will be in full swing with clubs etc. Yes, they released it a little early and should have tested it, but the game isn't so totally broken that it is useless. Just avoid the bits that don't work until they do. Simple :)

+1 Yes there are issues at the moment but their Woking on patch (should be complete by 16th feb and then QA tested for 24 hours), Just needs bit of time once the DLC hits the shelf this should be great game.

I'm disappointed there are only 8 players on screen at a time. I'd like to see the day when there are no AI cars but all the traffic is all the people playing.

Is there any advantage to getting gold in the races apart from extra cash. As on the a1/a2 I'm struggling lol.

Only to ensure you win the championship. If you're ahead on points don't bother until you're finished. Then you can go back later with a different car and sort them out :)

Can anyone connect to a game online?

This game is so unpolished.

I don't think its unpolished as such its just they didn't expect the uptake it had and they haven't managed to scale the server platform as quickly as they'd have hoped. It takes time to add server hardware in and the relevant connections etc

I always leave the elimination race till last, where i've normally got enough points to not even bother competing, just sit at the start line until i'm knocked out. Can't be bothered doing 7 lap races, and I only do the championships at all to get a bit of cash, too busy cruising!
