I know!! I've not tried it yet but put a few to online mode, seeing as there is now actually some point to it.

Track maker tracks online too :D:D:D:D
I'm knocking some together now but track maker still needs more options, I want to be able to adjust elevation. As it is it's fairly hit and miss if you get a decent track out of it.
 
OK MY F1 2007 IS NOW SET TO SHARE WITH FRIENDS SO YOU CAN ALL FINISH OFF THE NEW SEASONAL (EXTRA 2 RACES)

To borrow it goto profile,find my name and the F1 should be at the bottom. Click on it and click borrow. Job done and enjoy
 
hehe, good man, not yet done my F1 races so I'm not putting my F10 up :p
Don't know yet if it's restricted to only one person borrowing at a time?
 
How does the borrowing work, is the car blocked as soon as someone is borrowing the car and released after they finish the race?
 
Thought the remote races was just b-spec from a browser. Looks like I can race my Bob against my online friends Bobs, not compete in b-spec... :(

Horrifyingly awesome. I already have my PS3 hooked up to the middle screen on my three screen PC setup. For about £430 at the moment I could turn that into three screens of Nordschleife heaven.

I am so depressingly tempted. Depressing because I can't believe I'm even considering it just to lap on my own on one track. That's insane. But I rate GT5's Nordschleife as one of the very best, most satisfying sim racing experiences I've ever had, including iRacing, NKPro, GPL, and all the rest.

Must take some deep breaths and calm down. I can afford this, I just don't think it's a sane. :-)

However I do have most of next week off work, and....

GT5's Nordschleife is one of the best highlights of the game. It is deeply satisfying taking a Mercedes SLR or any decent car around that track in GT5 and nailing a good time. They got the physics down well good and it looks pretty amazing and the bumps just seem spot on to me..

Haven’t play GT5 is a week or so, maybe time to fire it up again and blast around the good old Nordschleife again…!!

Don’t think I’ll be going for the multi screen setup mind.. Tad too expensive for me. lol

iirc from what i read you just borrow a copy of the car, the original owner still has use of the car while it';s being borrowed also as soon as you change car it will dissapear from your list.


all this needs confirming tho by a forum member.

Ive been waiting for useful XP after hitting A-Spec 29, was well aware that PD are tweaking things as people start complaining so knew if I waited a bit they would make it easier to grind. Excellent :)

Depending on how this borrowing lark works (multiple people can borrow? Or just one person? etc) I'll set my F2007 to shared for anyone on my list who might need it. In the update it clearly says 'RENT' though, so does it cost you to borrow a friend's car?

Also, nice update indeed, I've actually got some enthusiasm for playing again now that the xp rewards have been boosted :D

edit: rebel - add me if you want, I'll set the car to shared in a minute, not using it myself just at the moment.
