Can i connect this to a HDTV and watch HD content while using it as a NAS at the same time so computers in the house can play the content.
 
Looks like you can upload all your digital content to it, then access it from any other device on your network, or play straight to your TV/HiFi.
 
Network media player so you can play music/video from your pc aswel as connecting an external HDD so you can play music/movies straight off?

Aswel as being able to act like a server for file storage/hosting with its NAS capabilities.. connect usb harddrive and share it so other computers can connect over the network?

Am i on the money? :p
 
Err, I must be missing something. I can already put my movies on a USB stick and my average Samsung TV will play them from the stick.

That's quite a new feature, a lot of slightly older TVs don't have it. Also, this allows you to stream media over a network rather than having to copy it onto a usb drive every time.

There are loads of different types of media streamers, so do have blu-ray drives, some don't - this one happens not too. Anyway, the idea is that you play your media from a video file rather than the disk.
