When her first record came out, I couldn't stand her, thought she was just another chav, but actually, since the video for Price Tag came out, she's actually pretty hot and her music isn't all that bad

Should I hang my head in shame?

Hot? Hell no. Far from it.
First single was terrible, price tags is much better :)

Maybe not as hot as most female celebs out there, but in the wise words of Richard Keys, you'd regularly find me hanging out the back of that
 
Preferred the first one, that at least had a little bit of edge to it. This second one sounds like pseudo-Lilly Allen.
She is hotter in this vid, but it seems anyone can look hot in a music video (see Nicola from Girls Aloud)
 
Price Tag is just another "Pachelbel's Canon progression" based song. If you try you'll discover you can sing three quarters of top 30 mid tempo power ballads of last two decades to this tune - just try humming Rihanna's 'Umbrella', Alicia Keys' 'No One' or Mary J Blige's 'Each Tear' to the chorus, for example.

Just about every song these days is based on "Canon in D". Love this video :)


On topic: Not sure what all the fuss is about, she just sounds (and looks) like an uptempo Lily Allen. And I'm not too hot on her either.
 
Actually quite rated the first single, second is bloody awful, thought she might be something different for 5 seconds, but no, more generic pop rubbish.
 
Personally she annoys me a great deal. She's a complete product of the music factory. Her first single was a crass attempt to me "man-like" and was an obvious cash-in. The follow-up is a rant against people who try and cash-in. Pathetic hypocracy.
Added to that, I think both songs suck and she doesn't float my boat at all.

She looks like a manlier version of Duffy in a Cleopatra wig, and I hate Do It Like A Dude, but quite like Price Tags
 
Why, why do women(girls, not sure how old she is) think that ridiculous straight fringe thing looks good, too many women have that haircut and look truly ridiculous.

She's marginally attractive, woeful music, generic rubbish music, the first thing I honestly thought was some kind of parady as I flicked past and saw like 30 seconds when she was doing the daft faces. I was sad for the state of current music when I realised it was serious and she thought she was original.

How much female singers do a daft "if i was a dude" type song. Price Tags is catchy, but utterly rubbish and irritatingly stupid, don't care about the money, just want to forget about the price tags........ sounds like yeah, you do care about money.
 
The latest recipient of the record bosses meeting to decide who's turn it is for their 'artistes' to win lots of awards and con the kids into thinking they are moderately talented so selling more records :(
