Age Of Empires III: Complete Collection, worth it?

I hated AoE III. it was nowhere near as good as the previous two. No wall + tower spammage with mass armies of battering rams 
Damn you, now I NEED to reinstall and play some AOE2. I never feel that way about AOE3 though, I dont want to bother with it ever again.

AOE3 Complete is brilliant. Plenty of fun against friends/online/campaigns, but not as "hardcore" as the other ones I guess. Still prefer it because I'm a simple herpderp guy on the RTS front.
Just love having rows of cannon behind a massive army to mow down enemies. Just so much fun!
Edit: I got it for 10 pence though so... Definitely worth it.

It's not the same type of game at all though.
No you cant. Thats why I hated it. Walls and towers are seriously nerfed in AOE3.
How did people get it for 10p? I just googled it, cant believe I missed that because I dont have the expansions.
Is there any game like that now?
I'm sick to **** of all the cheesing and constant rushing in RTS games now, AOE i could chill, build a massive base and then go against theirs, was fun.
I love AOE3! I racked up at least 600 hours on that game

Of course you can build walls around your base in AOE3

Yeh, it's not the same as the other 2 at all there.
Limited towers, easy to knock down wall. Cannons just make things to easy to destroy, realistic, but not great for games

I got this for ten pence but I never played it because at first they had run out of keys and I just forgot about it, gonna have a look tomorrow though now you've reminded me.
