Has anyone actually managed to get their Dell PC fixed under warranty?

We have around 3,500 of them where I work.

For work machines i've got no problems witth them, i think the last report i got from Centennial had around 13.5k of them listed with about 2k of them being laptops. They last between 3-5yrs and do the job required. The support is fine for them, it's just you do get the odd hiccup and even though they are all badged under Dell, if you get them from a different department they dont want to know. That was the main gist of my email to the big boss man, how come i was having to act as the go-between for two Dell departments and one of their authorised resellers.

Right, finally got it fixed. One of the fans was still blowing 100% and he plugged it in and out 2 or 3 times and it works now, he said it's probably a loose wire in the fan or something. Apart from that I had the FX card replaced and it seems to be working fine now, the technician said if I put a complaint in Dell will give me a new printer for the inconvenience. Don't think I can be bothered trying to communicate with the call centre workers again TBH.
