Good evening,

I bought the car over a month ago but only just got around to posting some pictures:

Thank god it doesn't have the awful tartan/check/whatever seats, they ruin the gti imho :p

Looks nice :)

Fantastic motor. IMO the best every day hot hatch out there.

I was considering one of these as a replacement for my Octavia vRS (if my mileage doesn't increase) but they are holding their money too well for my budget :(

I have one :-) Looks like an excellent example! First thing you need to do is get it remapped!!! Then it will seriously fly :-)

Oh and also get rid of that terrible headunit and install an Alpine system :-) The speakers are actually really good, but the VW HU is pants!

I actually like the check seats, a mate of mine has a 30th Anniversary with the tartan style seats, looks great

I wanted to like them, but just didn't feel like they suited the modern car so much.

However if I had an edition 30 I probably wouldn't care what the seats were like :)

Thats really tidy, I like that. Probably the best sub £10k hot hatch around really since the knuckledragger squad took over the ST market.

I have to say, (shock, horror) I almost agree.

The Golf looks a lot cleaner and grown up these days, it certainly appeals a lot more to me visually.

Have those wheels been refurbed or are they just bad pictures? They are supposed to be diamond cut aren't they?

Edit: And they've even dropped as low as £6k for a high miler (100k-ish)

Great, my favourite hot hatch, not that I'm a big hot hatch person but the Golf is the one I'd pick if I was going to. I'm glad you picked one with properly trimmed seats and not that foul tartan rubbish so many seem to have. Put a boot on that, call it a Jetta and it'd be even nicer :p
