Neighbours From Hell just got evicted

Eldest daughter just come back in from work -

The Bailiffs waited for 1 hour and then entered the house while nobody was in it.
Apparently she was at the end of the street hoping they would go away.
She then turned up and acted very calm asking what they were doing and said it was all sorted which it wasn't.
The Bailiffs said they wanted £5000 by 5pm (not £10,000 what my youngest told me).
They took the dog, tortoise and hamsters and told they could have them back when they were re-housed.
She acted calm throughout which was totally against her nature so she knew it was coming as loopylou said above.

I once went in the house to fix the DVD/TV setup and her husband was drunk on the settee surrounded by bottles and what I thought was cocaine.
She said 'Look at him, he's a waste of ****** time and he never has sex with me. How often do you have sex? Is it normal not to have it for over 3 months?'
Right, let's see how you cabled it up.

Haha that pic of the outside of the house looks exactly like most of the house clearances I used to do. What a state to let it get into. Wall to wall pig sty. Will never forget in one of the houses I did, I made the fatal mistake of opening the lid of a chest freezer. I nearly died on the spot from the smell. I think the leccy had been cut for some time!!

1) Can Bailiffs just enter without giving any warning?
2) If she found £10,000 next week could they let them back?
3) Having 3 young kids are the authorities bound to place them in a council house or similar?

1) no, she's had warning, but obviously is unable to keep up her repayments on the mortgage. She's probably been hiding the notices hoping they will go away if she's hid at the end of the street when they turned up. To go in they need to go to court to get a possession order.

2) If thats what it takes to bring her mortgage back up to date, i believe they'd let her back in.

3) Depends, probably not.

So what are the laws concerning eviction -

1) Can Bailiffs just enter without giving any warning?

Not without warning. A court would have set a date for eviction and informed the occupiers to be out by that date. If you do not then the mortgage lender or landlord can apply for a bailiffs warrant, then the bailiff can remove you from the property.

2) If she found £10,000 next week could they let them back?

They could, up until the lender sells the property

3) Having 3 young kids are the authorities bound to place them in a council house or similar?

Yes. They would need to apply as homeless to receive emergency housing.

Hopefully there gone for good bud and all you all get peace. Too many neighbours from hell get away with it for too long.

Best way to ignore some sort of awkward come on there

The dog looks so loveable too! Sounds like a dramatic day though, hope the kids are all right

I feel sorry for the kids & animals, but the rest of 'em sound like they can rot in Hell for all I care. Too many anti-social and incossiderate ***** get away with things. England is too small and cramped to be a bad neighbour!

It's very sad for the kids, but this is what you agree to with every mortgage. £13k jacuzzi? Get stuffed. Stick the kids in care and let the parents fend for themselves.

£13k jacuzzi?

There's a story about that to.
A few years ago they were up to their eyes in debt (around £35,000 + mortgage) so they decided to borrow money to put all their debts in one place.
They thought it would be a good idea to borrow £50,000 so they could have the jacuzi and the first plama TV I'd seen (I set it up).
It looked funny on a plastered wall.

Just curious - do either of the parents work? If so what as?

She has never worked but he has a great job.
When he worked for my best mate, my mate said he was on £1000 a week and then he decided to go on his own.
He has let that many people down that he probably struggles now.

It's people like this who cause all the financial crisis'.
What sort of absolute ***** would do something as stupid as that???

State Care is no place to put children if their parents are even half-way decent to them.

As long as they are not being abused then Care really is never a good option.

Hmm, so there will be a cheap house on the market soon with a jaccuzzi...

Shame it's in Stoke really! :p

PK!

I can totally see why the Neighbours wanted these people gone. I mean just by looking at those pictures shows you they do not care about the home or other people around them.

I had the same issue with the person above my flat. They just didnt care about others around them, partys all the time, rubbish out the windows, hell evenjumping out the windows instead of using the front door!

It really stressed me out being woken at 5am in the morning when I have work with booming music.

I hope they move far away from you and your other Neighbours so you can all get some pease.

Every now and then the old woman would ask them to tone it down and you would hear a torrent of abuse coming her way.
It was very hard to stay out of it.

The thing I've always found odd about semi-detached homes is they put all the bedrooms and living space on the partition wall - where the noise is going to bother next door.

But the hall, stairs, bathroom, kitchen (where you may not notice some noise) is all on the quiet external wall.
