New Intel B3 Chipset! Now Being Shipped!

I was under the impression that the 1.33a bios was the one to have?

Also how do I go about getting it swapped out? Are they doing what Asus are doing? Take my credit card details and send me a new one and charge me if I don't send the old one back? Who picks up the tab for delivering the faulty one back?

Yep, the 1.33a bios was the latest beta for the Extreme6 but the 1.20 and 1.40 are still up for download.
Not sure how ASRock will be dealing with the exchange but I'm sure OCuk will keep us informed when all the details with suppliers are sorted. Can't see the change over taking too long as it should be a straight swap as nothing will be tested unlike the RMA system.

ASRock are now shipping their 1155 boards with the new Inlel B3 chipset,
Maybe this could be perfect timing for me ;)

My motherboard is now failing to boot...does not even get to the bios screen

Tryed pulling out all memory and swapping slots & tryed using single stick in each slot..
Tryed clearing the cmos by rear switch & jumper on board
Tryed removing battery
Tryed with only a single GPU card (both slots)
Tryed with all USB items/cables ,network cables, hardrives etc,etc removed

And still does not work :(
(Now using my old 775 board & CPU  )

Looks like it RMA time for my Extreme 6....

The main issue is that Asus will swap the item at your door so there is no need to buy a mother board in advance..

Was something I was emailed, though have to admit I don't trust it.

OcUK are being very firm that they will not accept back the motherboard.

Ive just put my serial number into the asus site to check if my mobo is affected and its says my board is not affected???

Confused as i thought every mobo has the Intel Sata problem?

My Mobo is the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe <GA> and was bought yesterday

Can someone clear this up does this mean i have the B3 chipset?

To anyone saying their board is not affected make SURE you type the seriaL in correctly.

Mine is effected, however out of curiosity i replaced 0 with O and rather than come up with incorrect serial it says not affected (poor design imo)

Oma i bet that 1st O you have in your serial is meant to be 0

My board is an Asus P8P67 pro (serial no is ACMOAD445610) bought from o/c about 2 weeks ago, do you think i should take the checker result as 'suspect' ??.

check your serial if i change yours to ACM0AD445610 it says yours is affected check the ACM THEN IS IT ZERO OR AN O as if i change it to zero it says your affected so double check it.
