If you prefer to cycle then cycle, if you prefer to use the cross trainer then use that is the obvious solution. I tend to just mix them up as I feel like it.
Mind you I don't worry about it for weight loss really, tht's what my diet is for, the cardio is for fitness. (for me)
I assume you'll be doing some weight training?
Your legs will always benefit from some resistance training! If you start to struggle then i'd drop a card session before one of your weight sessions.
ok ill keep that im mind! as for weight sessions is it worth doing legs every 2 days and arms every 2 days? not sure what to do with abs yet though! still waiting for my PT appointment!
Don't over do it straight away. Sounds like you're going an awful lot for somebody that's just really getting started or back in to it.
As for the frequency of your training it'll depend entirely on the volume and intensity of the workout.
Don't forget your chest, back and shoulders![]()
only reason im going so much straight away is im 200miles from home working 7 days a week for 10 weeks 12hours a day. so once i finish at 7am there really isnt much for me to do, and i cant sleep for more than 7/8 hours![]()
its mainly the little buldge i have left on my belt line i want rid of! so im guessing more cardio than weights is the way forward?
ok ill keep that im mind! as for weight sessions is it worth doing legs every 2 days and arms every 2 days? not sure what to do with abs yet though! still waiting for my PT appointment!
You have my condolences as well I can manage 2 or 3 12hour static shifts before I'm itching to get back on the doors and have some human interaction![]()
12hr 7 days a week? Hope you are being paid a shed load of money!
joys of self employed i guess lol works out at around a grand a week! so cant complain!
