ACHI or IDE(need answer quickly please)

just about to start a re-install on my f1 1tb this time tho i'm seperating the OS with a partition. i've always used IDE mode for my hdd's but was wondering if i would see any benefits switching to achi.

If you don't have an SSD it honestly won't make much if any difference.

made some difference now getting read/writes of 149Mb/s

on a side note installing the achi driver was a pain in the bottom
