Koolance RP-450X2 Dual 5.25" Reservoir

Here's some shots of the res with BP comps added. Installation was a breeze although as usual with a bay res you have to leave some slack in the tubing to allow for filling which I never like to do. You can see the inlets on the top. Someone needs to design a bay res which gets around this.

Bleeding was an absolute breeze it took minutes to get the majority of the air out and considering my rad is situated in the roof of my 800D I was impressed - no need for rocking the case etc.

Just awaiting some new thermal pads for the second EK block and BP stubby barbs for the crossfire link. I managed to botch fitting the pads on the block so temps on the VRMs are currently hitting 70c+ under load. When they arrive I'll post some pics of the finished job.

That is the most beautiful res I've seen. I'm considering this res in my current rig, but all my drive bays are all currently occupied in my case. What to do?...

Question. What's the vibration like when the res is installed and the pump speed up at max?

If Only the d5 were included

so you would want a £100 product which is very high quality to come with a pair of £70 pumps?

Pretty tricky to see. So both loops are sharing the same water?

yep, but that wouldnt be a problem.

people worry too much about vibration on pumps like this.
d5s are usually fairly good even on the higher settings.

Minimal to none. Maybe this res and the 800D are just a good combo but there is no audible resonance.

Just re-read your post. I've never run the pump at max so wouldn't know. No need to run a D5 at max anyway.

Been thinking on either this or the new dangerden res can't decide:/

Would suggest the new rev2 version as its a true dual loop res or you can remove the divider and run it as a single loop res with one or two pumps. May get one myself.

Also has fill ports on the front bezel so no messing around with pulling the res out of the bay when filling.

wow the front fill ports would be a big plus. tho i preety much know if i get that will prolly make my self go down the dual loop later. the DD one means less options to go dual. hmm dunno which to go for tho the monsoon is out of stock on DD site:rolleyes:
