Yep, good fun will get on tomorrow for a blast as well. Hopefully the gpu issues i was having were a one off, noticed a funny smell coming from the pc, a few mins later bc2 ctd'd with a juddering sound, hit the power button to restart. Upon reboot afterburner was showing temps of 175 145c per card, but during the game they were only 66 64c, sli 470's @751/1502/1674 stock volts and custom fan profile.

Yep, seems a bit weird. I know that the 470's can run hot but thats a bit drastic. Tested my overclocked settings just now with heaven, max temps of 67-64c, auto fan set and custom fan profile.
Not bad for lvl 42. I'm also on lvl 42 and got 1365 tags but have been going onto smoke kills now (556). I used to use the 40mm grenade but smoke is more fun
On just clocked to L42 today. 1309 now, and got 3 or 4 from the Bronken boys on Isla SQDM (you missed some good rounds Pieplough matey).
I love SQDM at the minute, and as a result suck badly at Rush (sorry Pie
) I'm way too gung-ho for rush and loving Saiga spamming with the extra ammo perk

Trying to get back into this again, but getting major issues with EA.
80% of the time when I load it up, it will login fine, but when I search for servers, it says something along the lines of Can't connect to EA servers.
And then on the 20% of the time where I search in the browser and it does show some servers, there's only about 10 and most are offline and/or empty.
Sucks so much, seems a lot of people are having this problem if I google it.
I've updated punkbuster, tried all the fixes opened all ports and yet it still thinks there are barely any servers.
Never used to have this problem before.

Talk about Fermi running hot lol. On the serious note, I think it's worth sending an email to either Nvidia or the manufacturer of your cards, they might tell you whether it's possible for the cards (both at the same time = strange) to run a one off sauna without shutting down. It may be the thermal probes that failed when them cards got boiling hot. Funny smell you say. Are you sure there's no fried eggs anywhere in the case?
On the side note, I'm at 900/1200 @1.125V with my 5850

I did Get over it, i stabbed him in the head. Lost 200 points for a teamkill but i felt good!

I think you need patch your game. Depending how long ago you last updated as theres been several game updates.

I had a similar problem previously where only a dozen or so servers were showing (and accessible) then I got advised to update my game and voila, hundreds more appeared.
