Was a right pain, appeared to be linked to a battlenet problem, where you could get any game for free by putting your account as NL and then putting 7 random digits as your billing details. The hack was posted on 4chan so it went mental at blizzard end and soon closed down. But was annoying as we was just about to start arena.

Malorak is a fun rihgt, really good when u get it down, as a tip, have a Druid tank, tank him in Black phase, they take less dmg than most tanks, due to sheild + magic resist, only other tank that could is a dk. Then have a pala tank in the rest.

The Red Phase is the hardest, there are usually 3 breaths. First we take as a raid priest sheild aura mastery ect. 2nd Pala tank uses argent defender/priest wings and faces him away from everyone. 3rd another wings or over raid.

Other thing is make sure your dps are on there toes to interupt the storm, more than 1 tick is too much and can wipe you. Get 1 lock to keep up Curse of Tongues to make the ticks slower.

All in all its a hard fight, brutal on tanks, healers and dps. The aoe requirerment is really high. Get this rihgt and its a fun fight.

Luckily yesterday wasn't our raid night but so many people must have been p......o.. the servers went down for at least 1.5h (no idea how long exactly but I just gave up after waiting for this long).
 
Hmm, Contemplating whether to come back for another month or so, only downside is that I've got a busy month or so and I don't want to be tied down or I don't want to purchase the month sub and then just be sat in SW bored
 
Some very good news in the 4.1 patch. Can't wait to do heroic ZG & ZA! However pugging those is probably going to be painful.

That's true, hopefully I'll be able to do some guild runs (not like anyone want to do any HC anyway) but new mounts hopefully obtainable like the old ZA timed events might give people some initiative. Should be easy with gear 360+ ilvl :D easily by the time this is live.
 
The Firelands raid should be coming this patch too so you should get your wish :)

Personally I'm lookin forward to ZA/ZG again, not for loot but for the zones themselves. Though will make gearing some alts up a bit easier ofc :p
 
Was tanking Tol'vir this morning, healer was a bit undergeared so I marked up some mobs for CC, asked the hunter to trap the square ... so he ran up to it and dropped an ice trap, his intelligence was then questioned to which he retorted, "I MIGHT NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT WOW BUT I'M IN LAW SCHOOL!" /kick huntard
 
Has much changed since around the start of january? I kind of forgot to play wow when i got my new pc back when sandybridge was released, ending up playing aload of other games but now found my self a bit bored of some so going back to wow.
 
How are 5 man heroics now? I've not been playing since a few weeks after cataclysm launched, and pugging heroics was damn near impossible, as well as a 30/40 minute queue. Couple that with a guild falling apart, and it's a pretty boring experience.

How are they now, more able to be pugged?

They're a bit more forgiving now (also people are better geared and more clued-up on them) but still nowhere near the faceroll-fest of LK heroics.
 
Dunno why people hate on revamping old content, I'm quite content (C WHAT I DID THAR?) to be able to run them again with a full group, though it'd be nice if they were 10m raids ;)

Besides, they're "additional" content, hardly the main content focus of the tier (or ever are)
