Hi, I want to buy some land or a warehouse to put stuff like trampolines and basketball hoops or to build stuff like dirt-tracks/skateboard ramps/treehouses.

How much does a decent space cost? And can I just get anywhere or is there other stuff I need to know? Would I need planning permission for much of this stuff? Or to deal with any health and safety?

so you do or dont have 40k to blow on some land in cornwall when your location states you are in glasgow...?

My location is out of date, I live in Cornwall at the moment.

I'll be keeping my exact finances to myself but safe to say I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't thinking about it. I wouldn't consider it blown money either.

I have some fun ideas and some business ideas also.

Also, I am not a drug dealer.

The land linked is woodland and grazing with existing adjacent farmers retaining grazing rights over. Any activity you wish to undertake will undoubtly need to involve sheep.

It's also described as a haven for wildlife and birds so don't expect to be able to do anything on it other than walk and perhaps a bit of fishing. It will have natural England crawling all over any proposals.

More importantly its Greenbelt, moorland and will 100% be outside of a village curtilage. So unless you can prove exceptional design don't get your hopes up on ever being able to build on it

Access road, wouldn't like to say, how close to a road is it. Likely need planning and highways permission. Services, gas, water, electric. Forget it, installation costs will be more than the land cost, thats if you can hear the costs over the noise of the operators Lolling.

Hope that helps. If your serious seek architectural help tbh.

I'm a specialist in the feasibility and setup of leisure real estate projects (from theme parks through to entertainment centres, museums, resorts, sports etc.) I have previously done market analysis, feasibility study and business planning for an extreme sports and entertainment centre in Cornwall (with all of the aspects you mention plus many more). The capital budget was around £20 million. If you want real advice, I can help.

Thanks for this. This is stuff I need to learn about. I know about greenbelt obviously but hadn't read it on there.

I think it will be difficult to find land to fit my needs. I guess development land is going to add to the price again?
