Don't be silly :p He's still incompetent, but you can't do anything about that in remote races so it hardly matters :p

hahaha, well good for you, but thanks to cloning scum bags and selling-cars-on-ebay lowlifes, you can no longer gift cars worth over 1m.
Rather annoying for someone like me who has legitimately earned 390 cars and likes to gift cars now and then.

They've also fixed it so electric cars no longer wear out invisible oil, PP no longer affected by tyre choice but tyre regs can be set alongside PP regs.

WTF people actually clone cars to sell on ebay, what will they think of scamming next. First time I've heard of this selling cars on ebay. Madness.

I guess it is to stop people duping cars by backing up, gifting car and then overwriting the save with the backed up save restoring the car.

Only issue is that is takes so long to get enough credits for some nice cars with the limited number of races, I wish they add a lot more A-Spec races instead of forcing is to do the same races 100's of times
 
They need to add a filter option for PP in the open lounge, getting bored of going through the list like 5 times before I find a race I'm interested in.

Agree, if anything doing the last lot of seasonals has kind of ruined the experience for me as I've had enough cash to buy most of the cars I want without having to graft/grind for them.

But could do with more A spec races as I've not been spending much time on them but am already a good way through them.

********, cheers for the heads up. Never heard of this 'cloning' business though i've seen people sell a few GT5 cars on eBay so I though i'd have a pop. Just my luck as usual, put it on on Sunday and have to remove it today.

Well if you've installed the update, which you probably have, looks like you've just nicked someone's FGT.
It would have been nice of them to have given some warning.

Totally agree that more A-Spec races are needed, or repeatable seasonals, or seasonals like the FF/FR/4WD but with decent prize money!

I also saw GT5 cars for sale on ebay.. and could certainly use the money, but it wouldn't feel right to me, cloned or not.
 
I've lost an FGT thanks to this update too, lent mine out so someone could do the event but they haven't given it back yet. I've also lost my Minolta for the same reason. Thanks a bunch for the headsup PD, seriously :|

Oh. My. God.

I just barrel rolled an X2010 on the nurburg GP circuit..... about 15 times in a row lol. I really need a capture card, that was just too awesome not to upload :D I'll save the replay and hope they add the ability to upload videos to youtube sometime for now.
 
Haha I didn't know people had got to the point of selling cars on ebay!

Did anything new to do arrive with this update then? Couldn't see anything :(
 
Ok, I just counted my rolls and I 'think' it was 16 total lol

Jumblejug - indeed, would be nice to get my cars back.

edit: oh nice, just checking the replay options in case you could share online, which apparently you can't... but it seems you CAN export the save data from the replay for others to use :) Doing so now, hopefully I can then put it on a usb stick and upload it for anyone bored enough to be interested in watching me roll an X2010 16 times lol
