cousin in law screams 'paedo' at poor bloke :(

Also, you can't sue for slander in this case - nothing was published. Best you could do is some kind of public order offence. But obviously for that to work, it had to actually have happened - which seems doubtful.

Slander=spoken word ..... Libel=printed stuff etc .... other than spoken.

I read the thread, then saw who the poster was and rolled my eyes. Have you considered applying for a job on Jackanory britboy? You must really crave attention.

Normal response to far-fetched Britboy stories

I work in a school, I've seen what teachers put up with, it seems many parents are like this.

It really is pathetic, I have been strongly advised to keep my office door open when kids come in if they have forgotten their passwords etc. because some kids have been known to make random accusations, probably down to their parents.

I really hope the security guard gets justice.

Yeah parents play a big influence on a child. Many parents seem to have lost manners themsleves.

I must say most of the threads he posts are the sort that make you wonder if he just makes everything up.

Surely he can sue/make some sort of claim against the parents?

I would.
I'd have thought he should - if some thief who got marched down a street with a sign can get some compensation, then I'd have thought he should be able to... But wouldn't be surprised if she was allowed to say stuff like that because of free speech and stuff. Seems like it's OK to massively abuse people and ruin their lives and career as long as you don't actually physically damage them. :(
