How do I find channels?

Ie the OcUK channel?

(Sorry, it's probably really simple, but all I've been doing is quick matches).

With regards to the archon toilet as zerg, if you had thrown 5 or so banelings in, it would have been the protoss who lost out, with all of your units only losing the same hp as banelings have.

next to your friends tab at the bottom of the main screen is a small tab called "channels" click on that and then just type in

Does that actually work? As I was under the beleif only Protos can attack inside.. if so i'll be more carefull when using, but dam i love doing it.

Neither can attack inside the vortex, it's only when they pop that both attack at the same time. The thing is that the archons do insane splash damage...

Thing is in theory I guess it would work. But banelings are generally not used v protoss, and if I see a mothership the first thing I do isn't 'Holy **** a mothership, better get banelings!'. If they see banelings they probably won't archon toilet anyway just do mass recall.

Yes... and all units in the vortex shoot almost (but importantly, not quite) simultaneously so once 3 or 4 archon shots are done, all the banelings explode killing all the protoss with the splash

Well if for the price of a few banelings, you can prevent the archon toilet from being used, surely it is still enough to negate the idea that the archon toilet makes PvZ imbalanced. Maybe it's worth thinking about getting some banelings when you think use of a vortex is likely.

Ah well our discussion above is void, on the 1.3 ptr units coming out of vortex are immune for 1.5 seconds.

really want to get into SC again but I have a rule about spending more than £20 on a PC game!

i finally got into silver! took ages i think on account of my dreadful start where i didnt have a clue how to play the game and went 2/20 ish.

now around 160/130 and still winning more than i lose so hopefully will be in gold soon.

question - what does everyone have in their bonus pool?

I dont get to play much so mine is around 1000.

Lost so many games today..sometimes lazy macro, sometimes stupid errors..

not a happy day with starcraft!

No... There is nowhere. Just buy it - it's better to spend £32 on a game you will spend 100s of hours on than £10 on a game which lasts a few hours if even that. Starcraft 2 will probably not go down much in price any time too soon either.

Man I play this game too much and I'm not even getting any better now. Pretty much been going 50:50 win/loss for weeks so only increasing my points in line with the bonus pool. 2800 diamond if anyone cares.

What I really need is a diamond level zerg practice partner. Any volunteers? I play terran.
