Drink driving.

I'm 19 and will drive on anything upto and including 2 pints or literally a sip of spirits. Not sure if that makes me a child killer (over the limit) or not.

Stella is 3 units a pint, 5 units is the male limit. A normal pint (4% or so) is about 2 units per pint.

You could quite literally have you licence hanging on a thread, whether you feel fine or not. It takes an hour per unit for it to pass the body + 30 mins for it to actually reach the liver. So after the first half hour of drinking you then lose 1 unit per hour after.

Usually have a couple and drive, have done more in past. My bad, we're not all perfect.

Cheers for that. I think I'll reconsider and knock my limit back down to a pint :).

About age 19 woke up one morning thinking I would go and collect my car from the car park I left it in the night before. Looked outside and there was my car. Needless to say have never done it since.
Am 41 now

Is it safe to be admitting to stuff like this on a public forum? I'm always paranoid it will catch up to me later down the line, like if I want to run for President of the USA or something, or more likely if I crash my car.

Drink driving is a found committing offence only until it is made a pre-crimes division offence and you are arrested before it happens.

Something like that anyway.

Best of luck President Squirrel.

haha :)

In that case, I've driven twice when I know I've been over the limit. Extremely stupid.

Now I'll drink a pint at the most, which I know is still pushing it, but I'll never go over that.

I do not consider it drink driving as i am sure I am under the limit but regularly have 2/3pints and drive home (As in 3 times a week)

Many years ago (about 14).
One time was after being told the driver of a car I was in was close to the limit and should not drive any further (nice copper). He didn't check me though!

2/3 pints then driving, or 1 pint only but 3 times a week? If you read my quote below you might be surprised that 2/3 in one session will put you around the limit or over assuming you're there for an hour or so.

3 pints, over a few hours though. If its a quicky keep it to 2.
