Hey folks,
Had a call last week from my Banks anti-fraud team alerting me to some recent purchases...
...Not from OCUK they know better than to question those
1p Tesco Mobile - never used them ever.
£1 AOL - never used them ever.
...And wait for it, I actually laughed at this one just because of the random nature of it;
£800! Christian Louboutin shoes! Declined thankfully!
Anyway, I have a feeling it's because I bought my friend a Lush cosmetics gift for Christmas, and they had their website hacked and all users were warned card detail security had been compromised!
Whilst it's a pain, as it was my debit card and im now without one for a few days, it's also quite re-assuring to know that the banks are so quick to act on these things.
I know it's generally better to use a credit card online, but there are times im sure we all use a debit card.
Anyone else got some similar tales to tell?
