anyone know why sometimes it says failed to add drivers when doing b spec mode it's quite annoying just tried about 6 people and got the same message luckily found a few that worked.

I always assumed that you can not use drivers if someone else is racing with them. Might be wrong though.

No probs on racing your drivers, you make it easier by having lots of drivers, my other ps3 friends only have one or two each. And thank you for racing with my drivers too
 
Yea the Z06 is the first car I RM'd, it's handy but it's pretty twitchy if you're not careful.

I'm absolutely loving my italia right now, setting cars up seems a lot easier on GT5, I'm guessing it's because the default settings aren't 0 across the board like they are in Forza.
 
Is there a list etc of what cars to buy, I started with Honda civic did those races now of course I need others. Just don't like idea of spending ££ to find bought wrong car etc. Done the first three types of licenses, is it A,B & C1 ? This is on ps3

Good game, I'm more of a just race & hit people out of way kind of player. No idea what B spec is yet, confused me when I looked at it.

Just want fast cars to win races......

One thing that might help you get through A-Spec is adding people on PSN then borrowing their cars (you can set up to five cars as shared and any of your friends can borrow them to use in A or B Spec races)

You do tend to need a lot of random cars for the earlier races, e.g. a french car XD

I found that most cars needed for events were actually prize cars, some might be for later events but you can do them in any order. List of prize cars should be easy enough to find. Try http://www.mygranturismo.net/ which I've found invaluable.

I felt the same when I got the game, civic was great car to start off with the best way I found is to select the races and check entry requirements and typical opponents that way you can gage what car you should get.
If find yourself stuck add me to PSN I can share few cars to help you get started.
 
Lol been busting my nut grinding money so I get racing modifications on my ZR1, just did my first seasonal event got 350,000k! in one race using my Civic Type R :)
 
thanks you've just reminded me that i needed to come first at the ring in my impreza after landing in the pit lane during a big off meant i ended up 4th by the time i crossed the line first time round lol

also running a few bspec races whilst im on it.

Some of those screens look awesome, would be great to be able to print out some of those in ultra wide screen and stick em in a frame on a wall like the Raybrig or Takata NSX or the Castrol Supra battling with the Nissan Motul Autech. :cool:

The new seasonals have been updated:

World Classic Car Series: Each event is limited to 550PP and '1969 or earlier cars. (no mention of prize funds though so I'm guessing it's a measly sum like the F1's).

Bonus Race 7 has gone and no Bonus Race 8 (even though Time Trial 9 and Drift Trial 9 have been there a week already). :rolleyes:

Instead all they've done is extend the expirey date on the FF/FR/4WD/F1 challenges from 3/3/2011 to 17/3/2011. :confused:

Looks like they've run out of ideas already.

2 Weeks to do all that. :o
