i have the 2J but does anyone have the 2D from 1967 been keeping my eyes open but never seen it

Hi guys, I know this is a big ask, but I dont suppose anyone could lend me a car to do the historic racing car cup expert series could they? I promise to send it right back as soon as ive done the race. if anyone could help me out on this i would be very very greatful.

er.. go read the 1.06 update notes matey, no need to send cars any more. Then go read the 1.07 update notes, if you're really struggling with that you'll need a 7, 2D, 2J or one of the 20m vintage Le Mans cars, no one can send any of them.
Jimmy, I've got a 2D. Not bad, it's an "interesting" drive as you'd expect from a car of that age but it's very light. Auto box means it's slow of the mark. Are the Chaparrals possibly the only actual auto cars in the game?

The C63 seems to have all the traits of a bad auto in this game too - try drifting it and change up mid slide, it takes forever for the car to revert to hoon mode
I have one and I think I set it to shared with friends.
Great car and I used it to huniliate the Classic Seasonal opponents, all I had to do is limit the bhp and add some weight.
I am at work so can't accept your friend request until tonight, or is there a way to do that online?
I read a great tip which helped me ace this one. Well not ace it but I managed to win at long last.
Get whichever historic car you have that's QUICK! ( I used the classic Ford Racing Car - can't remember the name..pp4?) and got super sticky tyres on it.
Then, start the race and make sure any Toyota 7's aren't in front of you on the starting grid. If they are, restart until they aren't.
Should be fine then with a lot of pass blocking driving to pull off a win

I've not played GT5 for a couple of months, have I missed out on much in the way of updates which will get me back into it? I thought it was okay, but not quite as good as Forza, and wouldn't mind a beefy update or two which makes it worthwhile to play again.

If i chose my Buick 62 Special (the one that you win from one of the A-Spec events) it says the PP power is OK, but claims the car osent match 1969 or earlier?? any one know why.

Some cars don't seem to have any date at all (eg the Chrome Line cars) so my Chrome Line Cobra isn't valid even if the regular one is, maybe the Special is the same

It may be one of the cars in GT5 that dont have a year assigned to them (even though its in its name). I used that Camaro RM which was more than enough for those races...
Ta for the BSpec Remote races, will make sure I return the favour tomorrow...

i blitzed this with the 7 by changing the gear ratios as you only do around about 140 round cote d'azur and putting downforce to max

i use your drivers everytime i do remote racing. i dont do that much as i have to work a lot. would be nice if people used my drivers a bit more so i could be up to level 36 odd....
